Healthy Outcomes Consulting isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of what we believe in—that people can move from just surviving with symptoms of chronic disease to really thriving. Our company was founded at the intersection of lived experience and professional insight.

Our Founder and CEO, Monique Miller, brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience that spans government, academia, the pharmaceutical industry, and corporate leadership. But it’s her experience as a board certified health coach that confirms the belief that real behavior change happens when people believe they can make changes, and are provided the right tools and support to do so.

Across every role and through her personal experience, one truth became clear: our healthcare system is built to treat the symptoms of disease, not to guide people through the changes required to prevent or reverse it.

Our philosophy, for individual clients and for employees in the workforce is centered around the 7 Pillars of Wellness. So while most can agree that Physical Wellness can always be optimized, we help people also assess where they are with respect to the other Pillars of Wellness: Emotional, Social, Occupational, Spiritual, Financial, and Intellectual wellness.

When even one of these areas is neglected, people often continue showing up—but as a shell of themselves. With the right tools, coaching, education, and intentional strategies, they can move from simply existing to fully engaging with their lives and work.

Why Diabetes Is The Signal We Can’t Ignore.

Prediabetes and Type 2 Diabetes are not just diagnoses—they’re warning lights.

Here’s the reality:

**More than 1 in 3 people in the U.S. have prediabetes and 80% of them don’t know it!

**Over 38 million people in the US have Type 2 Diabetes and over 8 million don’t know it!

**Diabetes costs the U.S. an estimated $413 billion annually in medical costs, lost work, and wages.

Prediabetes and Diabetes are indicators of how stress, sleep, nutrition, movement, environment, and behavior are out of alignment. It also represents one of the greatest opportunities for change.

And one of the ways we help corporations is by proactively screening for metabolic syndrome—the precursor to both of these conditions. We help them put a strategy in place before there is a diagnosis, and this helps to lower healthcare costs while improving the lives of employees.
